What is integrative medicine?
Integrative medicine is a whole-person approach to healthcare that combines conventional medical care with evidence-informed complementary therapies. It considers factors such as nutrition, lifestyle, wellness, and individual health goals when developing a personalized approach to care.
What does an integrative medicine doctor do?
An integrative medicine doctor looks at the whole picture of a patient’s health rather than focusing only on individual symptoms. Care may include lifestyle recommendations, nutritional support, specialty lab testing, IV therapy, and other personalized treatments.
Is integrative medicine the same as functional medicine?
Integrative medicine and functional medicine share a focus on identifying underlying contributors to health concerns and taking a personalized approach to care. However, they are distinct approaches and may use different methods, testing, and treatment strategies.
What is integrative therapy?
Integrative therapy uses a combination of approaches to support overall health and wellness. Depending on your individual needs, this may include nutritional support, IV therapy, lifestyle recommendations, specialty lab testing, and other supportive treatments.
Do you accept insurance?
No. We do not currently accept insurance. Services are provided on a self-pay basis.
Do I need a consultation for IV therapy?
Some IV therapies do not require a consultation. Nutritional IV Therapy, Myers Cocktail, Vitamin C IV Therapy, and Amino IV Therapy are available without a consultation. Other treatments may require an evaluation first.
How much do services cost?
Consultations typically range from $225 to $425. IV services start at $195, with the final cost depending on the therapy provided. Injections range from $35 to $200 depending on the type of injection.
Do you provide specialty lab testing?
Yes. We offer specialty lab testing as part of a personalized approach to understanding your health and identifying factors that may be contributing to your individual health concerns.
Do you provide supportive cancer care treatments?
Yes. We provide supportive cancer care treatments designed to complement a patient’s existing care plan. These services are intended to provide additional support and do not replace conventional cancer treatment.
Should I come in if I’m feeling sick or unwell?
Yes. If you’re not feeling well, you should still reach out to our team. Depending on your symptoms and individual needs, we can help determine whether an appointment or treatment may be appropriate for you. If you’re unsure, please give us a call before deciding to stay home.
