About Sherry Verostko-Slazak
Sherry Verostko-Slazak, ANP-BC has been a primary care provider treating adult patients for over 25 years. In 2018, she opened an independent integrative medical practice incorporating nutrition, dietary supplements, and herbal remedies with traditional medicine.
As a Certified Natural Health Professional, Sherry provides a holistic approach to patient healing focusing on the mind, body, and spirit, tapping into the benefits provided by aromatherapy, homeopathy, and flower essence.
She has been certified by New York as a Medical Marijuana Certification Provider since launching Advanced Integrative Care.
Sherry has practiced in a variety of settings including private practice, hospitals, long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and in-home patient care and has an extensive background in pain management, geriatrics and palliative care .

As the Founder and Clinical Director of Advanced Integrative Care, she has established a premier integrative medical practice that seamlessly blends evidence-based conventional medicine with sophisticated, whole-person therapies designed to restore balance, vitality, and long-term wellness.
Her philosophy of care is grounded in precision, personalization, and partnership. Sherry believes exceptional medicine transcends symptom management—it requires a comprehensive understanding of the intricate connection between mind, body, and spirit. As a Certified Natural Health Professional, she integrates advanced nutritional medicine, targeted supplementation, botanical therapies, and lifestyle optimization into highly individualized treatment plans. Her practice also incorporates carefully selected complementary modalities, including aromatherapy, homeopathy, flower essences, and bioenergetic and resonance-based therapies—offering patients a refined and elevated healing experience.
Certified by New York State as a Medical Marijuana Certification Provider since the inception of Advanced Integrative Care, Sherry ensures qualified patients have access to progressive, well-regulated therapeutic options delivered with clinical discernment and uncompromising safety standards.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sherry embodies a profound commitment to service. She is a proud Blue Star Mother to an Active Duty United States Airforce Senior Airman and United States Naval Officer, reflecting a legacy of strength, dedication, and integrity that extends beyond medicine.

About Barb Tytka
Barbara Tytka is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Professional Nurse for twenty-four years who has cared for patients in a medical surgical hospital setting, urgent care facility and an integrative holistic practice. Barb is devoted to the advancement of alternative and integrative therapies, and educating and guiding patients in their decisions to meet their healthcare needs.
Barbara began her nursing education at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and obtained her nursing degree at Sister’s School of Nursing. After graduating in 1995, she began her nursing career as a medical/surgical nurse at Sister’s Hospital. After graduating in 1995, she began her nursing career as a medical/surgical nurse at Sister’s Hospital. Barb worked as a staff nurse, a nurse preceptor for newly hired registered nurses, trained as a unit charge nurse and was the Quality Improvement representative for her unit. In 1999, Barb was introduced to the field of Alternative and Integrative medicine. She began working as an IV therapy nurse under the direction of Dr. Robert F. Barnes at Preventive Medicine and Wellness Clinic. In 2001, Barbara completed the Great Lakes College of Clinical Medicine technician certification program. She has practiced as an IV therapy nurse and has researched and administered alternative IV therapies for more than 20 years. Since 2015, Barb has been an Essential Oil Wellness Advocate, educating patients on the use of essential oils to enhance their health and well being. In addition to her work and training in numerous Integrative therapies, Barb has also worked as an urgent care nurse, responsible for implementing the healthcare needs of patients presenting with a variety of urgent and acute illnesses. During this time, she obtained certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
In joining the healthcare team at Advanced Integrative Care, Barb is continuing her dedication in the advancement of Holistic and Integrative therapies. She is committed to patient focused care that meets patients’ needs and exceeds their expectations.

Barbara Tytka, RN is a highly experienced and devoted Registered Professional Nurse with over 30 years of distinguished clinical service. Known for her clinical precision, refined technique, and deeply compassionate presence, Barbara delivers an elevated standard of nursing care rooted in safety, expertise, and individualized attention.
After completing her education at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Sister’s School of Nursing, Barbara began her career in medical-surgical hospital care, where she quickly advanced into leadership roles including nurse preceptor, unit charge nurse, and Quality Improvement representative—demonstrating a lifelong commitment to clinical excellence.
In 1999, she expanded into the field of Integrative and Preventive Medicine, specializing in advanced intravenous nutrient therapy. Following her training under Dr. Robert F. Barnes and completion of the Great Lakes College of Clinical Medicine Technician Certification Program, Barbara has spent more than two decades researching, formulating, and administering customized IV nutrient protocols designed to support immune resilience, cellular optimization, energy enhancement, detoxification, and recovery.
As the Director of the IV Wellness Clinic at Advanced Integrative Care, Barbara leads one of the practice’s signature concierge-level services. She oversees the strategic development, clinical oversight, and personalized administration of advanced infusion therapies, ensuring each treatment is delivered with meticulous safety standards, discretion, and comfort. Under her leadership, the IV Clinic has become a premier wellness destination where medical precision meets a luxury patient experience.
Her background also includes urgent care medicine, where she treated a broad range of acute and complex conditions. She maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), underscoring her unwavering commitment to patient safety and preparedness. Since 2015, she has also served as an Essential Oil Wellness Advocate, guiding patients in thoughtful, evidence-informed integrative applications.
As a senior clinical leader at Advanced Integrative Care, Barbara remains dedicated to advancing holistic and integrative therapies within a concierge-level environment. She is deeply committed to delivering care that is clinically exceptional, highly personalized, discreet, and attentive ensuring every patient experience is not only medically advanced, but truly transformative and designed to exceed expectations.
About Renee Peterangelo
An infusion nurse, Renee is vastly knowledgeable about ozone therapies and specialized alternative IV protocols. Renee has a continual passion for learning through the advancement of alternative and integrative therapies. She is excited to bring educational resources and evidence-based research opportunities tailored to each patient’s health care need.
Throughout her years of nursing, she has empowered her patients through her compassionate care. Her dedication and holistic approach help them to attain their highest health care goals-- the results of which, are her greatest joy.
In her free time, Renee enjoys using her gifted talents for gardening, canning, and crocheting. She is devoted to her faith, family, and community.
Renee joined the Advanced Integrative Care team in January 2022 with over 29 years of RN experience having worked in hospital, home care, and holistic nursing settings.
